What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data Dead Ringer Press collects when you visit deadringerpress.com, sign up to the newsletter, use the contact form, or submit a story via Duosuma or by email, and how that data is used.

Information we collect

• Newsletter signups, your email address, collected and stored by MailerLite on our behalf.
• Contact form, your name, email address and message, sent directly to our editorial inbox.
• Submissions via Duosuma, our preferred submission route, your manuscript, name and biographical details are collected and processed by Duosuma (operated by Duotrope) on our behalf. If you pay the reading fee, Duosuma’s payment processor, Stripe, handles your card details directly, we never see or store them. • Submissions by email, if you’d rather not use Duosuma, you can email us your story directly, it’s sent straight to our editorial inbox, along with any name and biographical details you include.
• Analytics, aggregate, privacy-friendly usage data (such as pages viewed and country) collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track individuals across sites, to understand how the site is used.

How we use your information

We use your information to send the newsletter (if you sign up), respond to enquiries, administer submissions, and understand site usage. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email.
