Submission terms

By submitting a story to Dead Ringer Press by email, you confirm that:

• The work is your own original writing and has not been previously published;
• You have the right to grant Dead Ringer Press the rights described on the Submit page;
• The information you provide about yourself is accurate.

Rights

Dead Ringer Press acquires exclusive first publication rights to your story for six months from the date it's published on the site. After that six-month window, all rights revert to you, and you're free to republish, submit or license the story elsewhere. We separately ask for a non-exclusive right to include your story in a future Dead Ringer Press anthology, should we publish one, this doesn't restrict you from doing the same elsewhere at any time.

Editorial decisions

Dead Ringer Press reserves the right to accept or decline any submission at its sole editorial discretion, and to make light copy edits to accepted work in consultation with the author.
